I have some gauges where the pointer is shaking from side to side and it’s very difficult to get a reading. How can I overcome this?

Chances are there is either vibration or pulsation on your process. You can remote mount your instrumentation using Ashcroft 1115 capillary for the vibration. If its pulsation, you can put a liquid filled gauge or Ashcroft’s Plus! Performance gauge, which will dampen the movement. If the pulsation is more severe the addition of a Ashcroft 1112 snubber below the instrument would be needed.
